Bleeding Night Sumi Brush PROCREATE

Sumi ink is a type of black ink used in East Asian calligraphy and painting. It's made from soot and binders, usually derived from animal or plant materials and known for its deep black color and ability to produce fine lines and shading.

It's often used on absorbent papers or rice paper, and can be diluted with water to create different shades and effects. Sumi ink is an important tool in traditional East Asian art forms, and is also used in contemporary art and design.

I created this brush in Clip Studio Paint and Procreate to spread ink as it draws, just like the effect of Sumi on very thin tissue like Washi paper.

Great for textured lines and lower opacity washes.
